Below are frequently asked questions when you complete the online application:
Q. What is the Typical MasterCard/VISA/Discover Network Ticket/Sales Amount?
A. It is an estimated average of what you could sell or will sell. This is just an estimated average; you do not have to sell this amount. If your website(s) are being built by Safety Technology/Gunas.com please enter this amount when completing your application: $400.00.
Q. What is the Combined Estimated MasterCard/VISA/Discover Network Monthly Volume?
A. Again, this is just an estimated average for your monthly sales. You do not have to meet this amount. If your website(s) are being built by Safety Technology/Gunas.com please enter this amount when completing your application: $10,000.00.
Q. Are there any additional charges for American Express?
A. Yes, if you would like to accept American Express in addition to Visa, MasterCard and Discover, there is an additional monthly fee of $4.95.
Q. Will the $97.00 come out of the bank account I list on my application?
A. The $97.00 is an integration fee. The fee is a one time charge that Gunas.com will charge. They will charge you by using the credit card information you gave to them for your hosting payments. This allows Gunas.com to integrate your merchant account with your website(s).
Q. Why won’t my DBA name fit in the space provided?
A. Our system only allow for a certain amount characters in each space. Please enter in as much as you can in the space provided. No worries, we will know who you are!
Q. Why can’t I enter in both of my domain names in the space provided for webs site URL?
A. Again, our system only allows for a certain amount of characters in each space provided. Please only enter one domain. If it all doesn’t fit, enter as much as you can. No worries, we will know who you are.
Q. Who should I enter for the Tech Name and Email?

You are going to enter your own personal information in the spaces provided. This is your business.
Q. What should I put as the business category? What about the MCC?
A. For the business category please use Specialty Retail and for the MCC use Miscellaneous and Specialty Retail.
Q. What is the time frame from the transaction to delivery of product/service?
A. Enter the numbers 100 on the 0-7 days line.
Q. How long does it take to get approved?
A. The application process can take anywhere from 1 to 3 business days.
Q. What if I have bad credit, will I still get approved?
A. Yes/No – it really depends on how bad of credit you have. Generally, we will request additional information from you in order to process your application (i.e., Copy of driver’s license to your address and your identity, a home utility bill to confirm your address). If your credit score is extremely low we will require a Partial Funding Form to be completed. You would then be classified as a HIGH RISK merchant. This is basically a form requesting a reserve of typically 10% until $10,000 or more is reached. This means we will collect 10% of each sale and place those funds in an account until the reserve is met. Once the reserve is met we will release those funds back to you. |
