Internet Advantage allows merchants to use:
- LinkPoint® Central Service, a virtual point-of-sale terminal to process their orders
- LinkPoint® Connect Service to process transactions by using a simple Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) form on their Web site
- LinkPoint® API Service to control how your payments are processed and to build processing applications that can process from a Web site or from multiple point-of-sale terminals
- LinkPoint® VirtualCheck® service to accept checks online and have them automatically processed in a safe and easy-to-navigate system

LinkPoint Central (LPC) provides merchants with a new way to process monetary transactions. It acts as a secure portal for merchants to manage everything related to transaction processing, from running secure transactions themselves to setting up their Web sites to run transactions for them, from helping to prevent fraud to reviewing transaction reports to getting technical support and help.

Here's a breakdown of what the fees
are for:
 The
Customer Service Fee is for 24/7 phone support and access
to MyMerchantOffice, where you will be able to access all your transactions.
The Discount Rate is what First Data Independent Sales will collect
from each sale. For instance, if the sale is $100.00, FDIS will take $2.39.
Each
sale is considered a Transaction and they will charge you
a fee of 25 cents to process it.
The
Linkpoint Secure Virtual Terminal is what allows you to process
your orders on the Internet. With this, you won't have to purchase
or lease expensive terminals.
The
Gateway Fee is for monthly access to the virtual terminal.
You pay nothing until you are approved
by First Data Independent Sales.
